Prepare yourself for leading employers

Assessment centre

Applicants may be invited to an assessment centre, where they will be presented with case studies and scenarios to work through, both independently and with other candidates.

Assessors are looking for good communication skills, the ability to work harmoniously with people you have only just met, and signs of potential leadership qualities.

It’s crucial you speak up confidently during this stage to demonstrate your abilities and avoid being overshadowed by competitors. You may also be asked to give a presentation, allowing your interviewer to gauge how you articulate yourself and perform under pressure.

Final interview

The final interview is split into two rounds: one led by a member of the consulting team and the other by senior company partners.

This final stage consists of a personal interview to assess behavioural responses, and a case study that presents a hypothetical scenario for the candidate to analyse and solve.

    BCG Primatics Test 1_041122

This test only tests a very limited amount of skillsets (looking for the pattern). Some pretty obvious, some harder to find a starting point.

    A little tough

With some practice it will be easy. I have not practiced anything before giving this test since years.

  • India

    February 03, 2022

    Pattern recognition

I liked the timing and the option to go back and forth. I disliked the layout of the test, as it requires you to scroll down which can cause mishaps since it is time-based, and also sometimes the layout is confusing. The questions were good.

  • United States of America

    January 18, 2022

    Test was interesting

The tests were well paced. The first question could have had a better explanation for the method of solving (maybe a dummy question with example), since all 10 questions were of the same kind.
